Cirque du Soleil's Totem

Joe Putignano has performed in over 1,000 shows for Cirque du Soleil's Totem, as the Crystal Man and Darwin's monkey.  He was one of the original cast members, and helped create the two roles he performed.

Broadway and Metropolitan Opera House Performer

Joe Putignano was a performer in the Broadway show "The Times They Are A Changin" choreographed and directed by the legendary Twyla Tharp.  He has performed as an acrobat and actor at the prestigious Metropolitan Opera House in opera's: La Damnation de Faust, Turandot, Samson and Deliah, Un Ballo In Maschera, and Manon Lescaut

Joe Putignano has been an actor, dancer, and acrobat for many television shows and movies: Saturday Night Live, The View, Conan O'Brian, One Life to Live, Guiding Light, The Apprentice, MTV's Sunday Circus, and the movie The Bounty.  He has also been an acrobat and contortionist for Acroback, NBA Knick's Tumbling Team, and Broadway Bares.

Personal Trainer

Joe Putignano is a certified personal trainer by National Academy of Sports Medicine.  He has his certificate as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Certified Personal Trainer.  He was also the strength and conditioning coach on Cirque du Soleil's Totem.
